Post 8: Color Board

Well, whenever you go for shopping or to find something, what's the first thing that makes you choose it? The color, right? If something you like is not available in colors you like, they automatically become unattractive!
So here's some inspiration from color's past! I've chosen this image which has got almost all those colors that were in trend back them be it soft pastel colors or bright yellow's and red's, retro surely was a colourful era.

Post 6: Mood board.

Mood Board.

Classics never go out of style. Period. When we look a the world of fashion we always see echoes of the past and plenty of those echoes are not so subtle. Take a look above at almost any picture and you'll find something that takes you back to styles from earlier eras!

Post 5: Inspiration Board

Inspiration Board.
Let's go back in time for inspiration. A faded Polaroid photo of flowers, of a sequenced dress or chevron stripes or whatever comes to your mind with the word "Retro". So here's my inspiration board inspiring me to bring a touch of vintage glamour to the modern world. While collecting information about retro fashion I found these images which gave me feel of retro just by looking at them, not directly related to it though!

Post 4: Concept Board

My Concept Board.
What comes to your mind when someone says "RETRO"? Polka dots? Stripes? Bows? Sunglasses? Let's not forget Bell-bottoms! But what if someone says Vintage? Probably some antique watches and old stuff with faded colors must have been on your mind. Well, that's exactly what I thought of while choosing a topic for my logbook.

Post 3 : Not everything old is Vintage!

Being into all things old, there's often the chance to start a new collection of something. Fashion never goes out of trend, its eternal. Go retro, be glamorous!

Post 2: Retro- A spark to life.

Retro style is a culturally outdated, old fashioned style. It is that style which is imitative of the past. Generally, retro style consists of polka dots, stripes, checks, plaids, bell bottoms etc. Millineries and big sunglasses were used as an accessory by some people. This bygone fashion also reminds us of the colors black and white and also those winked eyeliners or bright colored lipsticks used by women. This historic yet antique fashion when renewed in a better way gives a glamorous look to a person!
